David Rasmussen was a conservation officer (game warden) with the State of Minnesota. Appointed in 1975, Rasmussen served at Blue Earth until his transfer to Detroit Lakes in September of 1976 where he was stationed until retirement. His interests included hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, and reading. His book shares stories of life as a Minnesota game warden. First printed in 1989 while still working, all copies had been sold.
