Product Care Instructions Seed in spring, late summer, or fall. For over-seeding, mow to .5", rake to loosen soil. Lightly rake seed into top 1/8" of soil after spreading. Lightly water after seeding to prevent the soil from drying out for 2-3 weeks, then water to prevent the seedlings from drying out in the first season. Mow at 3-4" for the first year. Mow at least a few times of year to allow air and light to reach the soil surface preventing thatch buildup and rot. After seeding, remove unwanted weeds as desired.
